The 54th Annual Hawaii State Farm Fair is happening this weekend, July 9-10. Hawaii Department of Agriculture’s Trenton Yasui and Jonathan Ho joined us on Wake Up 2day with all of the details. The Hawaii State Farm Fair will be held at Kualoa Ranch on Saturday, July 9, 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Sunday, July 10, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. The event is free to children and students with a valid student ID and just $5.00 for the general public. There will be many exhibits, live animals, entertainment, demonstrations and the always popular on stage contests like watermelon eating, corn husking and chili pepper eating.
