Na’ehu

Founded in 2014 Na’ehu (Ronson Asuncion, Given Yagi) have been performing collectively for many events such as weddings, parties, conferences, and even Japan. Having met through work at Ukulele PuaPua Ronson and Given began playing together.

Ronson Asuncion first started playing Ukulele at the age of 10. From there he began his vocal studies which then led to him learning guitar. Ronson learned how to sing and play both the ukulele and guitar on his own and with the help of his family, friends, and youtube. Now at the age of 21 Ronson is successfully sharing his beautiful vocals, ukulele, and guitar playing at many venues as a solo artist and with his group Na’Ehu

Given Yagi first began his Ukulele journey at the age of 12. As time went one he began studying under Bruce Shimabukuro, Jake Shimabukuro and Benny Chong. Given also has done many things with the Ukulele such as a collaborations with Kaimuki Symphony Orchestra, and also with the Japanese taiko Master Kenny Endo and his taiko ensemble. Given now also plays many venues with his Instrumental group 4U and also with his other group Na’Ehu

With the dynamic fusion of beautiful vocals and fast ukulele playing that is what makes Na’Ehu.
